Just another quick summary on some new data sources surrounding the current pandemic.

Who’s working on a cure? Everyone. That’s who. Global Coronavirus COVID-19 Clinical Trial Tracker (covid-trials.org)

A simple model trying to predict when the virus will end in different countries. Interesting to look at, but even the authors say it’s STRICTLY for educational purposes. Take with (many) grains of salt. When Will COVID-19 End (SUTD Data-Driven Innovation Lab

Lots and lots of graphs that you can play with. Change the axes to look at infections, deaths, etc etc. We found the most interesting one to be (for data nerds) the “normalized by population” graphs (Now if only we could get one that’s normalized by testing effort). An interactive visualization of the exponential spread of COVID-19 (91-DIVOC)

BONUS SITE: Not a new site, but the site COVID-19 in Australia Real-Time Report (https://covid-19-au.com/) continues to be our favourite site for all Australian data on the pandemic. They have continued to update and improve their graphs and visualisations. Well worth a look.

BONUS BONUS SITE: Not really a live data site, but a nice infographic on what the R0 number is. How coronavirus spreads through a population and how we can beat it (The Guardian)
