Advanced manufacturing
One of the major themes in the westernised countries is likely to be the return of manufacturing. Outside of Tesla, we’re not entirely sure where to position for this, but we’re currently trying to understand the industry. The role of 3D printing (additive manufacturing) in small batch, craft manufacturing, has the power to make fundamental changes in a number of industries, including healthcare, and aerospace. Post coronavirus Economy
The ASX has released a summary on what will change and what is likely to stay the same in the post coronavirus world. Whilst we don’t agree with all points in this list article (for example, there will be an increased shift to online/digital, but these are tools for “old world” businesses to use, it’s not correct to just write off a business as “traditional retail”, also we’re still bullish on the demand for commodities as governments try to stimulate the recession away).
